How do you get shockwave plugins to work under linux?

I know there is no official shockwave plugin for linux but is there anyway to work-around it? (using ubuntu 5.10 and Firefox 1.5 with mozpluggin)

I use Linspire with Codeweaver’s Crossover Office, and that does the trick.
